    San Fernando Valley

The San Fernando Valley covers more ground than any other region we serve, from 1950s-60s ranch homes in Reseda and Canoga Park to hillside estates above Mulholland Drive in Sherman Oaks and Studio City. Hard well water is the Valley's biggest recurring issue, leaving mineral scale on kitchen counters and patios faster than in coastal areas. Newer construction in Northridge, rebuilt after the 1994 earthquake, tends to have granite and engineered stone instead of the original marble found throughout the rest of the Valley.

    Westside LA

Westside LA runs from the beachfront towers of Marina del Rey and Venice's converted lofts to the estate neighborhoods of Beverly Hills and the high-rise corridor around UCLA in Westwood. Salt air is the main issue for anything near the coast, while the inland estate properties deal more with high-end imported marble that needs specialized care. It's the most varied region we cover, both in property type and in what the stone actually needs.

    South Bay

South Bay stretches from beach cities like Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach, where salt air etches patio and entry stone faster than almost anywhere else we work, to inland cities like Carson and Torrance with older 1960s-70s tract homes and their original terrazzo. Long Beach adds a third layer with its historic Bluff Park mansions and newer downtown high-rises. It's a region where the right approach really depends on which part of it you're in.

    Conejo Valley

Conejo Valley is anchored by Westlake Village, where lakeside estates and North Ranch golf-course homes use a lot of travertine on patios and pool decks. Hard water from the Las Virgenes municipal supply causes mineral scale here faster than in coastal parts of Los Angeles, which is why resealing comes up often in this part of our service area.

    Ventura County

Ventura County covers Thousand Oaks and Simi Valley, both a bit further from the coast than most of our service area, with larger family homes and fewer of the salt-air issues we see closer to the beach. Restoration work out here tends to be more about wear and hard-water buildup than storm or ocean exposure.

    San Gabriel Valley

San Gabriel Valley is centered on Pasadena, home to some of the oldest housing stock we work on anywhere in Los Angeles. Craftsman-era bungalows in neighborhoods like Bungalow Heaven often still have original limestone hearths and marble thresholds from the early 1900s, which need a gentler restoration approach than the newer stone found in most of our other service areas.
