Elite Marble Care

Marble & Stone Restoration Gallery — Before & After Photos

These before-and-after photos show the kind of restoration work Elite Marble Care does across Los Angeles homes and businesses: dull, scratched, or stained stone brought back to a finish close to the day it was installed. Every project started with an on-site assessment, and most jobs use the same diamond grinding and polishing process regardless of the stone type.

    Marble Grinding & Leveling

Grinding removes deep scratches, uneven seams, and lippage from marble and travertine floors. These photos show entryways and hallway floors before grinding, when the surface is dull and unevenly worn, and after, once the stone has been leveled and refinished.

    Honing & Polishing

Honing and polishing bring back shine without changing the stone's natural veining. The photos here show kitchen countertops and bathroom vanities that went from a flat, worn finish to a bright, reflective one.

    Stone Cleaning

Deep cleaning removes years of embedded dirt, grime, and old wax buildup from floors and countertops. These before-and-after shots show the difference a full mechanical and chemical clean makes on heavily used floors.

    Sealing

A fresh penetrating seal protects stone against stains and moisture damage. These photos show outdoor patios and shower stalls sealed after restoration, along with a close-up of water beading on the sealed surface.

    Stripping & Recoating

Old wax, acrylic coatings, and crystallization trap moisture and dull the stone underneath. These photos show floors before stripping, when old coatings have yellowed and cracked, and after, once the stone has been stripped back to its natural surface and resealed.
