Question 1

Is Elite Marble Care licensed and insured?

Accepted Answer

Elite Marble Care describes its technicians as licensed and insured. If you need documentation, ask during your call and confirm the applicable details before work is scheduled.

Question 2

What kinds of stone do you work with?

Accepted Answer

The team restores marble, granite, travertine, limestone, slate, and terrazzo. The stone and its condition are assessed before a process is recommended.

Question 3

How long will the work take?

Accepted Answer

The on-site assessment helps establish the scope and timing. Most residential projects are completed in one day; larger commercial spaces or severely damaged stone may take 2–3 days. Actual timing depends on the stone and work required, so this is an estimate rather than a guarantee.

Question 4

How do I get started?

Accepted Answer

Describe the surface and the issue you’re seeing, then arrange an on-site assessment. The team can inspect the stone and provide an estimate before recommending work. Browse the full FAQ page for more answers.

Question 5

How much does marble polishing cost in Los Angeles?

Accepted Answer

Pricing depends on square footage and stone condition. Most residential marble floor polishing projects range from $3–$8 per sq ft. Countertops and showers are quoted separately. We provide a free on-site estimate with no obligation.

Question 6

How long does marble restoration take?

Accepted Answer

Most residential projects are completed in one day. Larger commercial spaces or severely damaged stone may take 2–3 days. We work around your schedule and leave no mess.

Question 7

Can marble etching and dull spots be repaired?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Etch marks from wine, citrus, or cleaners react with calcium carbonate in the marble. We use diamond abrasive honing to remove etch marks and restore a smooth, even finish — polished or matte, your choice.

Question 8

Do you restore marble countertops and showers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We restore marble, granite, and travertine countertops and showers throughout LA. Shower restoration includes descaling mineral deposits, honing or polishing the stone, and a mildew-resistant penetrating seal — usually done in one day.

Question 9

Is your marble restoration process dust-free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We use wet diamond polishing pads and industrial slurry vacuums to contain all dust. You won't need to move furniture or cover belongings — we leave your home clean and ready to use.

Question 10

What areas of Los Angeles do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We serve 42 cities across Greater LA, including Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Malibu, Calabasas, Glendale, and Pasadena. See our full list of service areas.

Question 11

Can every chip, crack, loose tile, or damaged edge be repaired?

Accepted Answer

No. Cosmetic surface damage may be repairable, but recurring cracks, movement, failed seams, unsupported edges, leaks, waterproofing failures, and substrate problems need an in-person assessment and may require a fabricator or qualified contractor before refinishing.

Question 12

How does the free estimate work?

Accepted Answer

Elite Marble Care provides a free on-site assessment so the stone, square footage, finish, damage, coatings, access, and repair concerns can be inspected before a price is quoted. Calls receive a prompt response, and same-day scheduling may be available depending on location and technician availability.

Question 13

Which stone restoration treatments are available?

Accepted Answer

Cleaning, honing, polishing, grinding, coating removal, and suitable sealing are considered after identifying the stone and its condition. Not every surface needs every operation.

Question 14

Does sealing prevent marble from etching?

Accepted Answer

No. A suitable sealer can reduce absorption into porous stone, but it does not make marble acid-proof or repair an existing etch.

Question 15

How do I request an estimate?

Accepted Answer

Call (818) 903-0970 or use the free-estimate form. Include your city, the affected surfaces, and photographs if available; the proposed scope follows assessment.

Question 16

Can work be planned around an occupied property?

Accepted Answer

Discuss room access, furnishings, pets, and building requirements when requesting an estimate. Preparation, response timing, and scheduling are confirmed for the actual project.
